One of the city's most popular spots for kids who love water
The water playground is designed as a miniature version of the water cycle. Here, children can shoot water from water cannons, guide water through mazes, and make a giant cloud rain down over the playground. Through small channels, streams, locks, and pools, children can follow the water’s journey from the sky to the sea. Here, it’s all about splashing around, experimenting, and having fun.
Some of the features activate automatically, while others require the children to pump, turn, and set the water in motion themselves. This makes the playground a place where play, learning, and physical activity come together in one big water universe. The water is only turned on during the summer months, but when it is, the playground buzzes with life, laughter, and wet feet. So be sure to bring a change of clothes—very few people leave here dry.
Local tip
On hot summer days, the Water Playground is a great place to stop after a walk through Fælledparken. Pack your swimsuits and a towel, and let the kids cool off while they explore the many water features throughout the playground.
