A child-friendly traffic town where children learn about traffic and cycling in a safe environment

Located in the heart of Fælledparken is the Traffic Playground, a small, child-sized town complete with roads, traffic lights, road signs, and gas stations. Here, children play and learn about traffic in a safe and fun way, while the rest of the family can enjoy their packed lunches at the playground’s tables and benches. If the weather isn’t cooperating, you can also take shelter from the rain under the playground’s large canopy.

This playground is one of Copenhagen’s staffed playgrounds. This means that educational staff are on hand during opening hours to happily help your child get on a two-wheeler, and there are free bikes available to borrow.

Local tip
: If you need a break from the traffic, you can enjoy your packed lunch at one of the playground’s many “rest areas.”
