The Tower Playground, Østerbro
An imaginative playground in Fælledparken, where Copenhagen’s iconic towers come to life as play and adventure at a child’s eye level.
Amid the tall trees and wide lawns of Fællesparken, spires, domes, and towers suddenly rise up among the treetops. Here lies the Tower Playground, built around miniature versions of some of Copenhagen’s most iconic towers: Our Saviour’s Church, the City Hall Tower, the Round Tower, the Marble Church, and the Children’s Tower.
The towers are filled with lights, sounds, and small interactive experiences where children can play tag across the Børstagen, solve puzzles in the Round Tower, or stand in the City Hall Tower and speak like a politician. Around the towers, there’s plenty of space for running and playing. Here, kids can play ball on the artificial turf, while the scooter track lets the little ones zoom around on wheels.
Local tip:
Grab some firewood and marshmallows and head over to the playground’s fire pit for a cozy day with the whole family. Just remember to reserve your spot in advance.
