The Pocket Park at Sankt Petersborg Plads, Nordhavn
Amid the iconic architecture of Nordhavn, this pocket of nature emerges, brimming with tranquility, greenery, and birdsong
Located on Sankt Petersborg Plads is Lommeparken, a green public space in the heart of Nordhavn’s vibrant neighborhood. Here, the architectural elements of grass, landscaping, and play areas come together, inspired by the shapes and colors of the sea.
Lommeparken is designed as a small coral reef in the city, where children can climb on starfish, hide treasures in seashells, and play with the sandy seabed. The park also features benches and flower beds, inviting the whole family to relax and enjoy a peaceful visit.
Local tip
: Soak up the morning sun on one of the benches in the pocket park and listen to the birds chirping. If you’re more into adrenaline and a heart-pounding rush, you can continue up the red staircase at Konditaget Lüders—a large rooftop playground that offers fun and activities with a view of the entire Nordhavn area.
