Refashion Days 2026

A festival day packed with sewing and craft workshops, a clothing swap, a fashion show, and much more! On October 3, Re:Wair invites you to Re:fashion Days at Nordhus—an inspiring day focused on sustainable fashion, creativity, and community.

Schedule for the day
11:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.: Clothing Swap Market
Give your clothes a new lease on life and refresh your wardrobe. Bring 1–10 items of clothing and swap them for new favorites.

11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.: Workshop: Embroidery on tablecloths or your own clothing
Try your hand at free-style embroidery on a tablecloth or a piece of your own clothing. The designs are inspired by FLOR’s selected fauna and three bird species chosen by the Danish Ornithological Society (DOF). Along the way, you can listen to short talks about birds, nature, and climate.

11:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.: Workshop: Wrap-Around Skirt
Create your own skirt from jeans or other textiles together with the Re:wair team.

11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.: Workshop: The Green Bride
In collaboration with Lise Marker from Kreakiddo, decorate a wedding dress with natural dye prints from fruits and vegetables. Discover how nature’s own colors can transform textiles.

1:00–3:00 p.m.: Workshop: Repair Your Clothes with Sashiko
Learn the Japanese sashiko technique and breathe new life into your worn-out clothes with beautiful, decorative repairs. Camilla Torres Hansen will guide and instruct you throughout.

4:00 PM: Fashion show featuring the designers from Re:wair Studio
Be inspired by a fashion show where the designers from Re:wair Studio demonstrate how upcycling can be transformed into innovative fashion. Discover diverse design expressions and creative interpretations of upcycled materials.

All day: Exhibition from the Textile School: Discover five unique showpieces created by students at the Textile School. The collection was developed using recycled truck tarps and showcases the creative possibilities of upcycling.
