Play with music for the whole family

Discover the joy of making music together! Here, children and their adults have the opportunity to improvise, play, and experiment with sounds and instruments.

Free Music with Kids is a participatory musical performance where the whole family is invited to explore and create music together with professional musicians. There are no rules and no requirements—just curiosity and a desire to play with sound and rhythm. The event features free improvisation, where children and adults can try out different instruments and contribute their own ideas.

Free Music with Kids is about the joy of making music together and experiencing how small ideas can grow and become part of a larger musical collaboration. The musicians create a safe and inspiring space and a creative community where everyone becomes an active co-creator of the music.

The performance format is part of a research and development project. Throughout the project, the activities will be documented through audio and video, which will be used to develop new methods for teaching music to children.
