Join us on a musical journey as pianist and composer Nicolai Kornerup performs at Krudtuglejazz and takes us on *Valdemar’s Journey*. 

The music is rooted in Nordic landscapes, yet it conveys a strong longing to travel. Here, calm, open sounds meet wild, dance-like rhythms inspired by Eastern European folk music. The result is music that invites both contemplation and movement.

For the concert, Nicolai Kornerup will be joined on stage by the string section from LiveStrings. Together, they bring the music to life through a vibrant interplay between piano, accordion, violin, and cello—at the intersection of jazz, classical, and folk music.
