Concert at Kildevæld Church: Ella Olympia

These are intimate songs, these are whimsical lyrics, these are catchy melodies. And this is Ella Olympia, a 22-year-old Danish singer-songwriter, who will be performing at Kildevældskirken on Sunday, September 20, at 4:00 p.m. 

She draws inspiration from the American indie-folk scene and weaves life’s major themes into everyday situations, imagery, and sensory descriptions of fleeting moments—from falling in love and family vacations to heartbreak, jealousy, and loss. 

Ella Olymia received her musical training first at the DR Choir School and later in the DR Girls’ Choir, where she learned to appreciate Denmark’s rich musical heritage.
