Kildevæld Summer Festival
Østerbro, Kildevældsparken

Come experience the true spirit of summer in Østerbro with a painting workshop, circus performances, a fairy-tale concert for children, a bike blessing ceremony, community singing, and live jazz music.

You can also help plant and sow food and habitats for bees and butterflies on a new raised bed near the terrace at Kildevæld Cultural Center, and build a beautiful insect hotel for the area’s many bees and insects.

The festival is based on the cultural center’s terrace, but also takes place at the supervised playground and on the pier down by Kildevældssøen. 

Here’s what you can look forward to:

11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Circus with Volantes (at the supervised playground)

12:00 PM–3:00 PM Painting workshop for children and adults (on the terrace)

12:00 PM–3:00 PM: Bee ceremony and insect hotel with Bybi

12:00 PM–3:00 PM: Plant native species for bees and insects with Miljøpunkt Østerbro

2:00–3:00 p.m. Sing-along (on the terrace)

3:00–4:00 p.m. Fairy Tale Concert for Children (on the terrace)

4:00–5:00 p.m. Jazz concert with the Stian Swensson Trio (on the terrace)

Food and drinks are available for purchase at the Kildevæld Cultural Center café all day long.
