Debut Fest 2026: Voyeur

A rhythmic and humorous dance piece that transforms everyday café life and people-watching into an energetic physical performance.

Two people sit at a café table, observing the world around them. Through precise footwork, sharp movements, and creative use of coffee cups and sunglasses, this quiet, everyday scene evolves into a playful and musical dance performance. Drawing inspiration from Copenhagen’s city life, the work explores people-watching as a shared experience and invites the audience into a humorous and relatable world.

Debut Fest is Copenhagen’s festival for emerging art and new talent. The festival brings together debuting artists across various art forms and gives the audience the opportunity to experience Copenhagen’s new voices up close. 

This year, you can enjoy a total of 36 different acts over two days when Debut Fest takes over the Brønshøj Water Tower and the Kildevæld Cultural Center on September 4 and 5.
