Debut Fest 2026: Village of Lost Souls

A miniature universe built from cardboard, recycled materials, and stories about belonging. Here, tiny houses and dark fantasy elements are used to explore self-understanding, loneliness, inclusivity, and finding peace in the quirky and imperfect.

"Village of Lost Souls" is a handcrafted miniature world made of cardboard, recycled materials, and stories about people, emotions, and experiences that many of us recognize but don’t always talk about openly.

Debut Fest is Copenhagen’s festival for emerging art and new talent. The festival brings together debuting artists across various art forms and gives the audience the opportunity to experience Copenhagen’s new voices up close. 

This year, you can enjoy a total of 36 different acts over two days when Debut Fest takes over the Brønshøj Water Tower and the Kildevæld Cultural Center on September 4 and 5.
