Debut Fest 2026: Reflections

"Reflections" is a series of dreamlike, impressionistic paintings created at the intersection of nature and technology. In "Reflections," each work is an experiment from seed to garden, where rich organic details meet algorithmic structures.

Explore the incredible potential of a tiny seed that gives rise to an entire botanical world (or an entire garden). Each work contains 100,000–150,000 individual brushstrokes and is filled with symbolic details waiting to be discovered—familiar flowers and plants, hints of animals, stylized faces, cultural symbols, and abstract shapes that inspire a wide range of emotions and interpretations.

Debut Fest is Copenhagen’s festival for emerging art and new talent. The festival brings together debuting artists across various art forms and gives the audience the opportunity to experience Copenhagen’s new voices up close. 

This year, you can enjoy a total of 36 different acts over two days when Debut Fest takes over the Brønshøj Water Tower and the Kildevæld Cultural Center on September 4 and 5.
