Debut Fest 2026: Buried in Being Human: Dyrehaven

The artist Gamle Venner is exhibiting his work “Buried in Being Human: Dyrehaven,” which combines collage, acrylic paint, and spray paint in an exploration of the supernatural world that lurks just beneath everyday life.

*Buried in Being Human: Dyrehaven* is a work that explores and highlights a magical, more elusive world that lurks just beneath our everyday lives. Drawing on Dyrehaven’s unique atmosphere and ancient, gnarled trees, the work showcases the special feeling of being connected to something greater and older than oneself.

Debut Fest is Copenhagen’s festival for emerging art and new talent. The festival brings together debuting artists across various art forms and gives the audience the opportunity to experience Copenhagen’s new voices up close. 

This year, you can enjoy a total of 36 different acts over two days when Debut Fest takes over the Brønshøj Water Tower and the Kildevæld Cultural Center on September 4 and 5.
